Ed Media Conference Volunteer, 2010
Assisted conference room set up and distribution of equipment at the AACE Ed Media conference in Hawaii.. Worked at the admissions desk to register conference attendees.
IE Lab Global Committee, 2010
Acted as LMS system adviser for the Mongolian members' efforts to implement Moodle in Mongolia. Served as trouble-shooter for technical questions. Helping others with Moodle while I was concurrently involved with Moodle in the SBTDC project strengthened my knowledge of the system.
SISLT LSDD Advisory Committee, 2011
Served in a focus group which is examined the SISLT Learning Systems Design & Development (LSDD) curriculum. Attending this comittee meeting gave me a better understanding of what is expected of instructional designers and how the LSDD program intends to serve the industries needs.
